What are your hours and prices for delivery?

7 days a week 9am-5pm. We will deliver within these hours with your rental company. If we need to meet a client outside of 9am-5pm to get into a rental an extra charge will occur. We charge $45.00 for round trip delivery, pick up and set up. If you need your delivery the same day that you ordered, a same day delivery fee is charged.

May I pick up the items myself?

At this time, we do not offer self pick-up. To take the stress out of traveling with little ones, our goal is to have your equipment delivered and set up so you won’t have to worry about it.

How new is your equipment?

All of our equipment was been purchased new by us. It is checked for wear and tear after each rental, and if found in disrepair, will be replaced immediately.

Do you assemble the cribs?

Yes, the cribs are fully assembled, so they are ready to go with sheets, bumpers, blanket and a good book for bedtime. Some places do not give us entry access to assemble the cribs. If this happens we will leave the crib outside in a safe place or with the front desk. They often will assemble the crib or, if you need to assemble it, is an easy three step process.

How will I receive my equipment, and where do you deliver?

We will deliver and pick up your equipment to the location of your choice, at the time of you choose. We will deliver to vacations rentals, private residences, hotels, condos, campgrounds, bed and breakfast in the North Tahoe (Tahoe City, Kings Beach and Incline Village) and Truckee area. If you require special delivery and/or pick up times please indicate such in the comment box when ordering.

Why do you have no car seats?

Car seats are a very individualized item for proper safety. Car seats can be damaged and the safety compromised if in a vehicle accident or traumatic event and Tahoe Truckee Baby Equipment Rental is unable to guarantee that car seats have not been damaged while in the care of the previous customer. All car seats have numerous adjustments that must be made for each specific child’s height, weight, and age. TTBER does not feel like these adjustments can be made safely with rental equipment and we encourage all parents to bring their own vehicle car seat with them on their trip. All airlines will allow a car seat to be checked and will provide a clean travel bag to place it in. Car rental companies often rent car seats BUT parents should always read the manual carefully and ensure that the seat is properly installed, inspected, and adjusted for their specific child. We will be happy to make special arrangements to purchase you a NEW car seat and deliver it with your other rental items. Please call us at 866-646-2229 for specific requests.

What if I need something not on your list?

We will be happy to accommodate special requests as items are available. Please call in advance for any special request items.

Can I rent the items for more then one week?

Yes, items can be rented daily, weekly or monthly. The weekly rate is based on 7 calendar days including the day of delivery and the day of pick up.

What happens if we decided to extend our stay for a couple days or longer?

Good for you! But please let us know the day before your scheduled pick-up or we have to change you an extra one-way delivery fee because our delivery person will come out on the original date to pick up your equipment. Just let us know how many more days and we will charge accordingly, and schedule a pick up on the new date!

Is the baby equipment cleaned after each use?

Absolutely! The cleaning and sanitizing process is extremely important to us. Each piece of baby equipment is first cleaned, then thoroughly sanitized following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.

Do you track manufacturer’s recalls?

Definitely! All of our baby equipment was been purchased new by Tahoe Truckee Baby Equipment Rental. We safety check each piece of equipment prior to renting it, each and every time. We also track recall information on a regular basis through the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website www.cpsc.gov, which provides automated recall updates on baby equipment. We promptly discard equipment that is damaged.

What is your cancellation policy?

All orders cancelled within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the original order. Cancellation before 24 hours will be charged a $15.00 processing fee.

What is your policy on damage/breakage?

We rent out first quality products and expect them to be returned in working order. If equipment is damaged or broken during a rental period, we will examine the equipment to confirm the extent of the damage and charge a minimum of two weeks rental to cover our costs. This charge excludes the charge for the period for the rental period.

What if I am not satisfied with my order?

If you are not satisfied, we will be happy to replace the item as soon as possible so you can enjoy your trip to Tahoe/Truckee area.

Are your equipment insured against loss or damage?

We do not provide insurance against loss, theft or damage.

All Truckee areas, Tahoe Donner, Prosser, Sierra Meadows, Glenshire, Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Ridgewood, Ceder Flat, Lake Forest, Dollar Point, Tahoe City, Sunnyside, Pineland, Timberland, Skyland, Tahoe Pines, Homewood, Chambers, Stateline and Incline Village.
